Laura: I had to work last weekend.
Kevin: That's too bad. Why did you need to work?
Laura: I have a big presentation this week, and I needed to prepare for it.
Kevin: I see. I guess that is unavoidable.
Laura: That's right. Anyway, what did you do last weekend?
Kevin: Nothing much. I just stayed home and relaxed.
Laura: That sounds nice. I hope I can do that next weekend.
Kevin: You definitely deserve a relaxing weekend after working all of last weekend.
