Vicky: Well, if you want, I have two tickets to the NBA game tonight, but I can't use them. Would you like them?
Fred: Are you kidding? Absolutely!
Vicky: Here you go.
Fred: Thank you so much. How come you aren't using them?
Vicky: My husband and I were planning on going, but my father-in-law was in a car accident last night, and he is in the hospital now. So, we have to go to see him tonight.
Fred: That's terrible. Is he okay?
Vicky: He was injured pretty badly, but he will be okay.
Fred: I am glad to hear that.
